Wood shutters (Ithaca)

12
W court near Park

(google map)

condition: salvage

Original to house built 1878. Length 6’ each. I have 5 left. One is attached by a couple of nails & easy to remove. These were made into simple “shelves” and 4 are only attached to the wall because I recently had some of the basement walls spray foamed and they sprayed around the shutters. Three are attached on one half of one side, loose on the other half. The 5th one forms the “side” of the shelves (like a bookcase side) and has spray foam down the length of one side. I’m told they’d be easy to remove with the right tool. I don’t have that tool or building skills, so if no one takes them off I’ll have to wreck them to get them off. Offering for free in case some aspect can be reused. The shutter slats are in good shape, not loose. Come and look or I can send pictures if you send your cell number. Thanks
