Roberts and Sedorus is seeking a full-time (year round) reliable and skilled property maintenance manager to handle day-to-day upkeep, preventative maintenance, and routine repairs at our rental locations in Dryden, Lansing, and Ithaca. You will be required to receive and complete both emergency and non-emergency work orders received through the resident portal and/or via text from tenants in a timely and efficient manner. A google voice phone number will be provided to receive all tenant communications through. Applicant should be available for emergency and non-emergency repairs and work orders Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
Job responsibilities will include – emergency and non-emergency work orders, vacant unit turnover, interior and exterior preventative maintenance and upkeep including lawn mowing and weed eating.
4-5 years’ experience in property maintenance or general construction is required, as well as a practical knowledge of carpentry and the ability to comfortably troubleshoot plumbing and electrical issues. Being comfortable working on a ladder is a plus.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a must, and applicants should own their own basic tool sets. Additionally, a background check will be required.
