Seasonal Rustic Cabin (non-electric) available to individual who enjoys living close to nature in an alcohol, drug and smoke free environment. Two cabins are available. The cabins are located in a small woodland campground surrounded by a state forest with miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. Cabin dwellers have access to potable water, hot showers, compost toilets and latrines, and a community pavilion where there is WiFi and access to electric to charge small electronics (cell phone or laptops.) One of the cabins is located in the forest and has a single twin bed, along with a small dresser, table and place to hang your clothes. The other is located on the outskirts of a field. It has a full bed, table and area to hang clothes. WiFi reaches this cabin. Guests are encouraged to bring camping gear such as rechargeable lanterns, cookstoves, etc. Each cabin has it's own fire-pit and picnic table. A community fridge is available in the community pavilion for a small amount of refrigerated food. Environmentally friendly practices including: Composting, and Reduce/Reuse/Recycle. We incorporate Permaculture principles. Looking to save money? REDUCE YOUR RENT, for individual interested in becoming a Camper Helper, who can do contractual housekeeping (cabin and shower house cleaning) 10-15 hours per week. We value diversity, and want you to know we welcome all who share our values, and do our best to provide a safe space for all, including the LGBQ+ and BIPOC communities as well people in recovery. References and refundable deposit required. Camper Helpers must sign a 6 months rental agreement. Monthly rentals are available. Monthly rates are between $750 and $850. Camper Helper can reduce their rent but must be available between 11am-3pm for 2- 4 days per week. Electric, garbage, recycling, water and composting all included in rent.
