Our team of Certified Energy Advisors start by performing a thorough evaluation of a customer's home--focusing primarily on their existing building envelope and heating/cooling systems and then prescribe the appropriate solutions based on their findings. These items can consist of air-sealing and insulation measures, higher efficiency HVAC products, solar and geothermal systems, as well as indoor air quality, basement waterproofing, standby generators and other solutions to make our customers' homes more comfortable and energy-efficient. We are seeking charismatic, self-starting and highly-motivated individuals with the skills and knowledge to effectively engage our customers and turn these opportunities into sold projects. This position will involve professional in-home presentations, preparation of estimates and following through to make sure the project is successful and the customer is completely satisfied. Prior in-home sales experience is beneficial, but not required. Our focus is bringing on high-character applicants, who also have outstanding communication and computer skills--the rest we can train!
-BPI certification or equivalent accreditation/experience is preferred, but not required
-NATE or NORA certifications are a plus
-Prior in-home sales experience, along with strong mechanical aptitude and/or construction background
-Must have the ability to work some evenings and Saturdays
-Be very customer service driven with great organizational skills and outstanding follow-through
-Must possess strong communication skill-sets
-Should have an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products
-Maintain a clean and professional appearance
