Looking for one roommate to join us in a 3BR / 2BA lakehouse — the available room is a spacious ground-floor bedroom with a dedicated workspace and wide views out over Cayuga Lake.

Lease runs Sept 1 – June 1, rent is $900/month + utilities. Fully furnished, wood floors, fireplace, shared living room and kitchen. Yard, wrap-around porch and lake access. Minimal road noise and steady stream of songbirds. No pets allowed.

This spot works well for someone with a car, a 15-minute drive to Cornell. That said, we’re right on the Black Diamond Trail, so if you’re a bike commuter, it’s a gorgeous 45m ride in the fall and spring, and a slightly more ambitious one come winter.

To note: this house needs someone handy. It’s an old home, which is part of its magic, but it has its quirks, and we like to handle most standard repairs and maintenance ourselves. Hoping to live with someone who is comfortable troubleshooting and getting their hands dirty. Ideal if you enjoy living in a place that feels more like a home than a rental.

You’d be living with Cornell PhD students.
