I am a first year PhD student with two cats (they are very friendly to humans). I am vegetarian and enjoy running and baking.
About the apartment:
The location is on the northwest edge of campus (across Fall Creek) and is a 10-15 minute walk to the middle of Cornell campus.
There is a laundry room in the apartment building.
The bedrooms and living room have hardwood floor, kitchen and bathroom are tiled. There is no carpet.
The bedroom comes furnished with a full-size bedframe and mattress, and a drawer. There is a closet.
The bedrooms are on the smaller size, and most of the apartment space is in the kitchen and living room.
Currently the living room is only used for storage. If you desire you may set up this space for your own purposes as I mainly am in the kitchen; I am also happy to help convert it to a proper living room.
All I ask is that you clean up after yourself. I try to keep the apartment tidy, vacuum the apartment daily and do a deeper clean weekly. The apartment is strictly shoe-free, and slippers are recommended. I keep the cat litter box in my bedroom so most litter tracking is contained.
