Hello, I am a 24 year old guitarist in the Ithaca area seeking members (though primarily a drummer) for a black/death metal project.
Influences include early black metal bands like Rotting Christ, Mercyful Fate, and Master’s Hammer as well as death metal along the lines of Gorguts, Atheist, Suffocation, Immolation, and Sentenced.
I’m looking for individuals interested in creating conceptually original music, likely to be performed live at some point. Not looking to aimlessly jam or rehash older bands.
Located in the Ithaca area but will drive up to an hour or two to write/rehearse.
