Up for sale is a 1970s Gibson EB-3 copy by Electra. This is one of the lawsuit era Japanese basses that was well manufactured and sounds great.
This bass drips a vintage vibe. Very little fret wear, electronics sound fantastic with no issues. Low action, no buzzing or dead frets. You can get some really fun tones out of this bass, whether you’re playing through a single pickup or blending the two.
There aren’t any structural or electronic issues to speak of. There are quite a few nicks and chips to the finish that show this thing has been a workhorse since the beginning. The biggest damage to the finish is the bottom left edge, near where your arm might rest. See pictures for this as well as all other dings.
Recent sales on Reverb show this going for $400-$700. I’m asking $350 or best offer. Comes with hard shell case (not pictured). No trades at this time. Cash only. I’m willing to travel a reasonable distance for a motivated buyer.
