I'm selling my nearly new Fender American Pro II Jazzmaster, bought it new in December, rarely played, and have decided it's just not the right style for me. New, it was $1799, and now they are $1939. Save a ton and buy this mint sunburst Jazzmaster.
No signs, scratches, no wear at all. Ithaca Guitar Works replaced the strings recently, gave it a nice setup. I don't know the exact weight, I would say about 8.5 lbs. I have a scale I'll try and get a more accurate reading. Like most Jazzmaster's, they aren't as light weight as other styles.
Pickups sound good, the American Pro II has a couple of tricks up its sleeve that make it more useful. The tone control functions as a push/push pot that gives the bridge pickup a subtle boost. And the toggle switch on top, in the up position, uses both pickups for a more even tone, unlike traditional Jazzmasters that only uses the neck pickup. Sounds good with a bit of gain or fuzz running through it.
Let me know if you have any questions. Prefer local sale in Ithaca, CASH ONLY. No trades.
