Small masonry company is looking for a dependable mason laborer to add to our crew (currently we are one mason and one apprentice). If you are hard working, honest and take pride in what you do, this is a good opportunity to learn a demanding but rewarding trade.
You will be asked to mix mortar, set up scaffolding, carry materials, do site prep and handle clean up, along with other tasks as needed.
We work with stone and brick, most of our work is residential projects throughout Tompkins county.
Experience is not required I am happy to teach you as we go. The work environment is relaxed and friendly - I just ask that you take pride in your work and respect the people you work for and with. Masonry is a very rewarding trade, standing back at the end of the day and seeing what you accomplished is a great feeling.
We work Monday through Friday starting usually at 8 a.m., aiming for an 8 - hour day but sometime we stay later to finish a project as needed. Reliable transportation is required.
