Durable yet lightweight NASCO lacquerware tray with its beautiful high-gloss finish still intact. Serving tray features a hand-painted brown basket overflowing with blue and yellow flowers set against a gold background. Use it for serving or as wall decor, often referred to as toleware. Rectangular with scalloped edges and incredible color vibrancy. Vintage 1940-1950s, label reads "Nashco Products, New York, Hand-Painted, Chip and Alcohol Resistant". Measures 16” wide x 14” high. Excellent condition with no chips, scratches or dings.
