I am looking for an affordable housing situation for my son and I, a two bedroom in downtown Ithaca.
My son will be starting middle school this year and I want to keep him in the same school district. I am a small business owner and work part time here in Ithaca. I am also willing to do work to trade for a partial decrease in rent. Mowing, gardening, landscaping, painting, small repairs, drywall, framing, moving labor. I am not on section 8 but I did get into a local program where my rent is guaranteed to be paid for the first 6 months and then I will be paying it after that so I just want something in my price range I know I can afford. I have my son 4 days a week. We are both pretty quiet and keep a clean environment. We don’t have any pets and I don’t smoke or drink.
