This beautiful aluminum structure is 16 feet in diameter, and 9 feet tall at the peak. It had a cover and was my greenhouse for 4 years, until last spring a freak wind tore the cover off. You could buy a new cover for it, or use it as it is. Last summer we used it as a place to hang hammocks (it’s incredibly strong, can support several people at once), and as a trellis up which I grew vegetables and flowers, for shade. Until the plants grew in we used a shade cloth. It would be great as a climbing structure for children, or to hang a swing or two, or set up a picnic table for a romantic dinner. 16’ diameter galvanized steel domes are selling for more than 1,600 on Etsy. This one is aluminum, which is light and very strong. It took two people an afternoon to construct; unlike the galvanized steel ones that need to be screwed together (very labor intensive) it easily clicks together or comes apart with sturdy push buttons. It will come with the rebar anchors to fix it to the ground. I can deliver to Ithaca.
If you want to come to newfield and take it apart yourself, I will reduce the cost by $100.
