This is a real collector's item!
CIRCA 1955, FRENCH COUNTRY STYLE, China Cabinet/Breakfront DESIGNED by JOHN WIDDICOMB of GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN.
One Owner.
Solid and absolutely gorgeous wood grain breakfront features its original brass pulls; serpentine front drawer panels; ornately rounded columnar corners and scroll feet.
Breakfront is two piece, the glass top sits on top of the drawer and cabinet section.
Generous storage is provided within each of the eight dovetailed constructed drawers, 2 cabinet style sections, and shelving behind glass.
The 4 small left-side and right-side drawers are each fitted with fixed dividers for silver and flatware storage.
The breakfront's rear side panel is a full sheet of wood held neatly in place with a series of screws and grommets.
The number '7630' appears at the top, left rear side of the dresser as shown. (I was unable to determine if this is a part number.)
The breakfront measures 60 inches wide and 20 inches deep and 80 inches tall. PLEASE measure your space if you are planning to put this in your home, it is unusually large.
At nearly 70 years of age, the breakfront remains in remarkable condition displaying only the very least signs of use easily consistent with age.
Structurally very sound, very sturdy and very heavy.
This museum quality, brand name and fully functional breakfront will almost assuredly continue to increase in value while you enjoy it in your home today.
Offered with an unbelievably low opening bid of $900.
