This is a a hand-crafted desk that consists of four pieces: a hutch with closed shelf space, a counter with pull-out computer and keyboard surfaces, and two lower side-units with pull-out drawer space. This unique desk was created in California from carved cupboards recovered a ship captain's house overlooking Monterey Bay. The pieces can be disassembled for moving, but the top piece is especially heavy and requires at least two strong people to carry it. Additionally, the desk is located in a basement and must be carried up 12 wide steps to a driveway where a truck could be parked. The distance is not great, but it is important to realize steps and weight are issues. Interested parties must be willing to pick up and move the desk.
