It’s not an exaggeration to say, ‘they don’t make them like this anymore’! Harden Furniture, founded in Upstate New York in 1844, ceased operations in 2018. If you are a traditionalist who values well-designed, well-made furnishings, this set belongs in your dining room. Made of carefully selected cherry wood, the set consists of a table,
6 cane-back chairs (2 arm chairs and 4 straight chairs) with rich red and muted gold upholstery, a 52” long table extending to 84” with two leaves and custom made protective pads, and a lighted china cabinet with three drawers and two cabinets.
The set is in better than good condition for its 50-year age and six moves. There are small dings here and there, plus a repairable chip out of a corner trim (see photo). Chair seats have been re-upholstered.
Dark spots on the photo are shadows, not damage.
Buyer assumes all responsibility and cost for moving the set: by picking it up or arranging and paying for packing and shipping.
