This is not a typo, it is 500lb. It makes the perfect Driveway marker for those with a nautical bent, or a ex Navy person.Dimensions are: overall ht is 93", fluke length 41", Width of stock 58", length of shank 87". On the shank in embossed letters; Danforth anchor Berkley CA, Mark11. Elsewhere, 1944. and 500 lbs. There are 2 giant shackles with a short length of spliced cable. There is a story to the anchor. It was found an recovered by Scuba divers in Seneca Lake 40 years ago. I bought it 30 yrs ago. It held the Navy training barge for Samson Navy base training station in the latter part of WW 2 and thereafter and then abandoned. Since it was always in fresh water it is in great condition, ready for your favorite color of paint. It can easily be moved in a sturdy utility trailer which I can load with a bucket loader. I also know 3 football players from IC can move it as well.
