About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bartender/SErver to elevate the guest experience in our Lounge & F&B program. You will be instrumental in upholding our high standards for food and beverage quality, service delivery, and overall guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Leadership: Direct daily operations in the Lounge, ensuring smooth service and serving as the primary point of contact and Manager on Duty when senior management is not present.
* Quality Assurance: Oversee the preparation, presentation, and quality of all food and beverages, while maintaining impeccable service standards across the floor.
* Inventory & Ordering: Conduct accurate inventory counts and compile weekly beverage and supply needs, submitting these reports directly to the Assistant General Manager (AGM) for ordering.
* Organization & Receiving: Take full responsibility for receiving and stocking all beverage orders. You will be expected to keep all beverage storage spaces secure, safe, and impeccably organized.
* Cleanliness & Compliance: Champion our cleanliness standards by strictly executing and enforcing all daily opening, closing, and deep-cleaning checklists.
* Staffing & Scheduling Input: Monitor business trends and communicate coverage needs to management to ensure optimal scheduling. Please note that while your input is highly valued, you will not be responsible for writing the final schedule.
* Guest Service: Perform standard high-volume bartending duties, leading by example to deliver exceptional hospitality.
Compensation Structure
This role features a blended compensation model. It is primarily a tipped position during active service hours, with designated non-tipped, administrative hourly pay provided for dedicated inventory, receiving, and organizational tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Proven experience as a bartender with extensive beverage, wine, and spirits knowledge.
* Prior supervisory, lead bartender, or shift leadership experience in a hotel, resort, or restaurant setting.
* Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to lead by example, fostering a positive, clean, and professional working environment.
* Ability to lift and organize heavy beverage boxes and kegs as required for stocking.
