We are looking for an experienced, dependable cleaner to help maintain a home in Cayuga Heights that includes three Airbnb units as well as the homeowners’ private living space.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thorough, proactive, reliable, and able to work independently.
Because the home is not easily reached by public transportation, candidates with a vehicle are preferred. However, the house is within walking distance of Cornell’s campus, so applicants who live on or near campus and can reliably get to Cayuga Heights are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include:
Airbnb turnover cleanings, Monday through Thursday, between 10:00 a.m. check-out and 4:00 p.m. check-in. The number of cleanings depends on bookings. On busy days, there may be up to three turnovers, though this is rare.
Additional weekly cleaning of the homeowners’ private living space is also available, if of interest. This would be approximately 3 hours per week, preferably on Mondays, though the day and time can be flexible.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have prior cleaning experience, strong attention to detail, and a reliable work history. Experience with Airbnb or short-term rental turnovers is preferred.
