1990 Capri 26' sailboat and trailer. Summer 2024 slip and winter storage available at Lansing Harbor Marina.
"Iktumi" is well loved and enjoyed and comes ready with a full sail inventory, two long shaft outboards, anchors, lines, etc. Has speed paint below the waterline that gets painted over every three years, no sanding needed.
The Capri was made from 1990 to 1997 by Catalina and designed as a family boat that sleeps four. Below deck is an open cabin design with the bathroom on the left side just past the companion way stairs.
She's 8' wide, stable, draws only 3.5' of water with a wing keel and can be trailer launched and retrieved at almost any state park. We have put the mast up and taken it down ourselves. Best of all, the cockpit has a "walk thru" transom, meaning you can walk thru the cockpit and jump right off the back or use the ladder! It makes swimming from the boat easy for all ages. It's a huge plus with the kids on hot calm days.
I left out all the nautical words and showroom jargon because this is a fun boat to love and learn on. It's fast, stable in heavy wind and seas, hassle-free to transport, great to overnight on, low maintenance and the walk thru transom makes it easy to swim or pee off the back. We've enjoyed this boat for 25+ seasons.
