The Catalina 22 is widely known as the most iconic and popular trailer sailer ever produced. Only sailed in fresh water. No salt exposure. Kept under cover during winter. Great for day sailing, racing, exploring, and overnight anchoring, especially with shallow draft of swing keel model. Sail #12029.
Sails, rigging, everything in good condition. In addition to standard main and jib, has a 110 Genoa, Harken furling gear, and spinnaker. PortaPotty compartment. Sleeps 4. Dining table converts into extra bed. Optional Galley with fresh water sink and water tank, ice box, and area for stove (stove not included); slides aft for another extra bed.
Swing keel with 2’ draft for shallow water and beach landings; 5’ draft with the 500 lb keel fully extended.
Original galvanized MagicTilt trailer with no corrosion telescopes out extra 10’ for launching from shallow boat ramps. The trailer’s bunker boards (correctly steam bent to the curve of hull) are in excellent condition. Wiring harness was updated to including side clearance lights.
