A Legacy Handmade in America Craft Shop and Gallery that I, Robbie Dein, started in the fall of 1972 as 'People's Pottery' in Varna. Multiple locations over the last 53+ years include the DeWitt Historical Society, Clinton House 1975 to 1977, The Dewitt Mall 1977 to 1982, The Ithaca Commons 1982 to present. Celebrating the Art and Soul of America's finest potters. glass blowers, fiber artists, woodworkers, metal craft artists and a range of other mediums. I have a long history of serving the Ithaca and surrounding Central New York Community. Our store is a Place of Joy and to Enjoy and Marvel at the beauty, creativity, humor and function of objects that we call 'Handmade in America', along with a small smattering of very special art works from other parts of the world.
I opened People's Pottery as a potter in 1972 and have expanded the business year by year. I feel we are an important thread in the rich fabulous fabric of this community. I am happy to confidentially discuss the business and my goals for finding a successor.
I DO NOT INTEND TO CLOSE MY STORE. I WILL SUPPORT MY SUCCESSOR in the TRANSITION and PROVIDE MY COMPLETE KNOWLEDGE to NURTURE and PASS ALONG this SUCCESSFUL LEGACY BUSINESS. Thank You for passing the word!
I want to find a successor who will find this to be an opportunity to enjoy being surrounded by Beautiful Handmade Creations and the people who love them too, and our clientele who value being educated about these works of art while collecting and giving them as gifts. My Pricing is Negotiable.
