One of the members of the Tompkins County Quilters Guild passed away. She collected antique blocks. Her son brought a lot of these to our guild and I took the Colonial girl ones. These were made around 1930 . Each girl is holding a bouquet of about 150 French knots.! They were just in a pile and I decided to make the basket blocks to go with the girls. I put the blocks together and quilted it. It truly is lovely but needs to find a new home. It is 54 " long X 34 wide
