I'm looking to rent or sublet an apartment or home for the 2008-2009 school year that would be late august to mid may. I can work around dates though. I think it would be great to find someone who is away for the winter or only rents their property for summer to lease from. I can make sure that nothing happens to the house and do the usual maintenance that would need to be done to the property. I�m looking to pay rent and utilities so in turn you would be making money and keeping your property safe over the winter. Also I understand that with this idea comes some conflicts on dates, from when the home is available in the fall and when you open it again in the spring. I�m willing to work around or with this. It would be just me, as of now. I have no plans for a roommate but I�m open to the idea and or living with someone else.

I�m fine with doing the usually maintenance around the house like mowing, leaves in the fall, snow, cleaning up the yard for spring, ect. I�m not looking for a discount on the rent for helping with this; I just want to make this a mutually benefiting deal for both of us.

About me:
I'm a student at Wells College studying economics; I will be going into my Junior/Senior year. I'm very mature and mannered. I have a pretty big course load this year and some trips that I will be taking Also I'm pretty handy and have reasonable knowledge on home maintenance and repairs. I'm sort of a neat freak and like everything to be clean, organized and looking good. But I�m not out of my mind either. I have plenty of references; you can speak to my current landlord to verify. I current live in a very nice place in Ithaca.

I do drink but nothing excessive and I'm not a party host. I smoke a cigar from rare occasion to occasion but never inside. I don�t do drugs or do anything illegal. And lastly I would like to find a place that would allow me to have a dog. My dog is very, very well behaved and mannered. He is house broken and doses not chew on furniture or cause a mess. This would not be a deal breaker though, if you don not allow pets I can make other arrangements for him.

I have a 4x4 truck so the winter time conditions shouldn�t be a problem, and I'm more than able to shovel and deal with the weather.

I would like to find a place ASAP. On the water would be best!

Bottom line is I�m looking to find a comfortable place to live for my school year. I�m mature, very clean and I believe I can be a help to your property. I�m looking to find a situation that benefits both of us.
